This report builds a comprehensive evidence base on the relationship between gender and biosecurity to inform future UK programming. The report contains a literature review of Biosecurity policy area investigating existing and potential future inequalities. This draws together insights from existing literature, policy frameworks and practice to establish why biosecurity needs a gendered approach, exploring the interaction of gender with the development of biosecurity management and the gendered implications of biosecurity threats and interventions.
