This report aims to inform future international support to community-based disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR) and stabilisation support in eastern DRC that supports the women, peace and security agenda and incorporates gender equality. The report reviews lessons learned from support to the International Security and Stabilisation Support Strategy (I4S) and through lessons learned from gender-responsive DDR programmes in similar conflict contexts.
